Post Graduate Diploma in Museology

The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), Bhopal, in affiliation with the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Amarkantak (A Central University), offers a One-Year Post Graduate Diploma in Museology.

This programme aims to strengthen the fraternity of museologists, create skilled museum professionals, and open new career opportunities for young graduates and enthusiasts of art, culture, and history.

The course was launched in 2019 and currently the 6th batch of museum professionals is undergoing training.

The course will conduct in IGRMS Campus

Admission Details

• Eligibility Entrance Test conducted in hybrid mode
• Advertisement published on IGRMS social media and newspapers (June-August)
• Selection based on merit in entrance test
• Reservation as per IGNTU and Government of India norms
• Course Fee: ₹20,000/- + ₹1,000/- (Refundable Caution Money)
  Payable in two instalments of ₹10,000/-

Course Work Programme

Curriculum approved by the Board of Studies.

Examination & Evaluation

• Two semesters of 6 months each
• Minimum 75% attendance in each semester
• Diploma awarded after successful completion of semester examinations
