मछली पकड़ने का एक बड़े आकार का फंदा/उपकरण
सेपा बांस की खपच्चियों (जति बाह) से निर्मित मछली पकड़ने का एक बड़े आकार का फंदा/उपकरण है। खपच्चियों को व्यवस्थित कर एक स्थिति में रखने के लिए नियमित अंतराल पर बांस से गोलाकार बांध कर दोनों तरफ शंकु का आकार दिया गया है। इस के मध्य भाग को अंदर की तरफ से बांस की खपच्चियों का सहारा देकर बाहर की ओर उभारा गया है। इसका एक सिरा बंद है और दूसरी तरफ मछली इकट्ठा करने के लिए एक संकरा छिद्र है। इसके मध्य भाग में दो वॉल्व हैं जिसे पानी के प्रवाह के विपरीत रखे जाने पर मछली आसानी से फंदे में प्रवेश कर जाती है। इसका उपयोग पुरुषों द्वारा बड़ी नदी व नहर में मछली पकड़ने के लिए किया जाता है। यह विभिन्न आकार प्रकार के होते हैं और इसे डिंगोरा, डोरी आदि विभिन्न नामों से भी जाना जाता है।

A large size fish trap
Sepa is a large sized fish trap made from bamboo splits (jati bah). The splits are arranged and tied to bamboo rings at regular intervals to form a bi-conical shape and to hold them in position. The middle portion of the body is projected outward by giving a support of bamboo splints at the inner side. One end is closed and the other is having a narrow opening to collect fish. It has two valves at the centre which allows the fish to enter the trap when it is placed against the flow of water. It is used for big river, big canal fishing by male members. It is of different size and shape and also known by different names like Dingora, Dori etc.
