बस्तर के कुछ देवी देवता देवी-देवता

यहाँ पर बस्तर के कुछ प्रमुख देवताओं की पाषाण मूर्तियाँ प्रदर्शित हैं : बंजारिन माता, जो बीमारी को गाँव में नहीं आने देती, और हाथ में सब्बल व डलिया लिये आदिवासी युगल झिटकू-मिटकी, राव देव खेतों की रखवाली करने वाले घुड़सवार देवता, डोकरा देव- अच्छी फसल के लिये जिम्मेदार देव, खाण्डाकंकालिनी देवी – यानी खड्ग धारण करने वाली देवी। इन सभी की पूजा मूलतः विपदाओं से बचने तथा खुशहाली के लिये की जाती है।
THE DEITIES OF BASTAR

The display includes stone images of some important deities of Bastar including :Banjarin Mata, who protects the village from diseases, Jhitku Mitki, the adivasi couple carrying a basket and a hoe; Rav Dev, the equestrian God who stands gaurd over the standing crop in the fields; Dokra Dev, the deity responsible for good harvest and Khandakankalini, the sword wielding goddess. All these deities are in general propitiated for the well being and protection of the village.
