खाना डिब्बा, भोजन ले जाने का एक पारंपरिक पात्र है। इसे तश्तरी के तीन समान आकार के बर्तनों के कलात्मक संयोजन के साथ बनाया गया है और दोनों तरफ से दो लंबे चम्मचों द्वारा कसा गया है। एक उपयुक्त ढक्कन के साथ एक लोटे के आकार का पात्र सबसे ऊपरी भाग को सुशोभित करता है। सबसे ऊपर वाले पात्र का आधार उसके तुरंत बाद वाले निचले पात्र के ढक्कन से जुड़ा होता है। ले जाने की सुविधा के लिए सबसे ऊपर वाले पात्र के ढक्कन से एक यू-आकार का मजबूत हत्था जोड़ा गया है। लोटे की अनुपस्थिति में परिवहन में आसानी के लिए निचले तीन पात्रों के शीर्ष पर एक अतिरिक्त हत्था भी मौजूद है। आम तौर पर, निचले तीन खंडों का उपयोग पके हुए चावल, करी व सब्जियों को भरने के लिए किया जाता है, और सबसे ऊपर दाल या छाछ जैसी तरल वस्तुएं रखी जाती हैं। इस टिफिन में दोपहर के भोजन के लिए पर्याप्त मात्रा में खाद्य पदार्थों को रखा जा सकता है।

Khana Dibba
(A meal carrier made of brass)
Khana Dibba is a traditional meal carrier made with captivating artistry of three identical saucer-shaped utensils assembled and held tightly by two long spoons fixed at both sides. A pitcher-shaped pot with a suitable lid adorns the topmost segment. The base of the uppermost container is socketed to the lid of the immediate lower container. A U-shaped solid handle is attached to the lid of the uppermost container for the convenience of carrying. An additional handle is also present at the top of the lower three containers for ease of transport in the absence of the pitcher. Normally, the lower three chambers are used to stuff cooked rice, curries, and vegetables, while the uppermost is for liquid items like daal or buttermilk. This tiffin can sufficiently accommodate a complete package of daily food items required for a complete lunch.
