महाराष्ट्र में गन्ने का रस निकाले जाने की यह पारम्परिक तकनीक है। इस यंत्र को तैयार करने के लिए दो बेलनाकार दांतेदार घिरनियों जिन्हें स्थानीय भाषा में दुल्हा एवं दुल्हन कहा जाता है, जिसे पति कहे जाने वाले क्षितिज रखे ढांचे के ऊपर रखा जाता है। यह रस निकालते समय गति को एक सा बनाये रखने हेतु गियर का कार्य करता है। यह उपकरण जू कहे जाने वाले लकड़ी के लम्बे शाफ्ट जो रोटोर की भांति कार्य करता है, के द्वारा बैलों की सहायता से चलता है। यह उपकरण स्थानीय भाषा में मारुख कही जाने वाली लकड़ी से तैयार किया जाता है।

It is a traditional technology of Maharashtra for crushing sugarcane to collect juice. The device consists of two upright cylindrical form of wooden wheel toothed structure (called locally Dulha & Dulhan) which is mounted upon the horizontal frame called Pati, that serve as gear to maintain uniform motion in crushing sugarcane. It is moved through a long wooden shaft (called-Ju) used as rotor with the help of Bullock. The device is made of wood locally called ‘Marukh’.
